Moodboard Release: Start a Campaign from a Moodboard
The inspiration is already there, long before the brief: a Pinterest board, a folder of screenshots, photos from a shoot you loved. Starting a campaign in Brandmachine has meant turning that into form fields instead of showing it. I think the moodboard was always the real brief.
Structure was always the second step
Until now, planning a shoot meant the Shot Planner, structured on purpose, locations and models set once, every image of the shoot planned in parallel, which is what makes it come out as one coherent story. A new campaign starts with inspiration, though. A tool that opens by asking for a structured plan misses that.
So there's a new step before the Shot Planner now, built into one flow with it
Drop the images you already have onto a board, from your computer or with "Add images," and mark each one, Model, Location, Mood, Angle or Styling, one image can carry more than one, a café photo can be both your location and your mood. The agent reads the board and turns it straight into the structured plan the Shot Planner used to ask you to build by hand: who wears what, where, in which light, from which angle.
Nothing else changes
The board is only read once you plan, so dropping images in and arranging them costs nothing. Every campaign you already built still works exactly the way it did before, and the picture comes first now, the plan follows from it.
Open Campaigns and start your next one from a moodboard instead of a form.
